I’d Rather Be Me
I’d rather be me than a fly on the wall or a snake in the grass.
There are flies on my walls listening and laughing.
As flies feast, maggots multiply.
When discussed, I feel disgust.
Shew flies on my walls, you bother me.
I would rather be me than a fly on the wall, or a snake in the grass.
Snake in the grass I’m looking for you.
Serpent I see your slither marks you left on the ground.
I hope I never stumble upon you.
Flies on the walls and snakes in the grass,
I can feel you near me.
